President Trump took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to chime in on today’s special election in Georgia, calling the Democratic candidate a “disaster in Congress.”
Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff faces off against multiple Republicans in his bid to replace Tom Price as representative of Georgia’s sixth congressional district. It’s safe to say who the president is rooting against when people in the state head to the polls.
Democrat Jon Ossoff would be a disaster in Congress. VERY weak on crime and illegal immigration, bad for jobs and wants higher taxes. Say NO

Republicans must get out today and VOTE in Georgia 6. Force runoff and easy win! Dem Ossoff will raise your taxes-very bad on crime & 2nd A.

Trump accused Ossoff of being “very weak on crime and illegal immigration,” while adding he is “bad for jobs and wants higher taxes.”
Ossoff needs to reach 50 percent of the vote to avoid a runoff, but Trump feels a runoff would result in an “easy win” for the GOP. The vote is happening because Price left Congress to become Trump’s Secretary of Health and Human Services.
Trump also tweeted about gang violence early on Tuesday morning, blaming President Obama for the a rise among gangs forming across the Unites States.
The weak illegal immigration policies of the Obama Admin. allowed bad MS 13 gangs to form in cities across U.S. We are removing them fast!
