Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg‘s writing and directorial debut in “This Is the End” meant big spikes for their scores on the PowerGrid. The end-of-the-world comedy brought in big bucks at the box office, one of the key factors in the algorithm which determine's the Grid's PowerScore and PowerRank.
"Man of Steel" actress Diane Lane also found herself on the rise this week, thanks to the Superman’s soaring success. Lane found herself in the same ranks as Rogen, with both making it into the top 100 actors on the grid.
Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace and Gary Oldman all star in "Child 44." The film, directed by Daniel Espinosa, went into production this week, bringing it into the top 500 in-development projects.
