Authorities are currently investigating injuries found on Bobbi Kristina Brown’s face and mouth, almost two weeks after she was found unconscious in a bathtub, according to media reports.

A source close the investigation said the facial scars prompted the Roswell Police Department to look further into Bobbi Kristina’s ordeal after emergency personnel rushed to her Roswell home Jan. 31, WSB-TV Atlanta reported.

Her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, is being investigated for his role in how she ended up unconscious and face down in a filled bathtub.

So far, no charges have been filed in the case.

The tragedy of the situation has deepened since Page Six reported that the family plans to take Bobbi Kristina off of life support Wednesday, the same day her mother died three years ago. Houston was found dead of a drug overdose in a bathtub at Los Angeles’ Beverly Hilton Hotel during Grammy Awards weekend in 2012.

Doctors told the family there was little they could do to save Bobbi Kristina following a series of seizures she suffered while admitted at Emory University Hospital. Bobby Brown took to serenading his daughter, even singing her mother’s classic songs.

A public prayer vigil was held Monday night against the backdrop of Whitney Houston tunes. Riverdale Mayor Dr. Evelyn Wynn-Dixon noted what’s important about the tragic situation.

“Forget that [Bobby Brown] is a renowned artist. That [Bobbi Kristina’s] mama, the late Whitney, was a renowned artist. These [are] still people. They bleed and hurt like us,” Wynn-Dixon said.
