The upstart Pivot network has found a new way to reach out to its millennial audience: Its app became available Wednesday to Dish customers.

The network, owned by Participant Media, targets viewers 18-34 — exactly the people most likely to view content on a device other than a TV. The downloadable app, PivotTV, allows viewers to watch on Internet-connected devices and stream Pivot.

The network, which premiered in August, is also available on the “Dish Anywhere” platform, and as part of the America’s Top 120 package on Dish channel 197.

“We are thrilled to have DISH offer Pivot through both our PivotTV app and the DISH Anywhere platform to their subscribers,” said Stephanie Ruyle, Pivot’s executive vice president of distribution. “DISH understands the value of providing its customers with the opportunity to watch Pivot where they want, how they want and when they want.”
