Fox Moves ‘Pitch’ Up to Fall, Bumps ‘Bones’ Back to Midseason

“Prison Break” also shifts from Thursdays to Tuesdays in Spring 2017

Not even four full days after its Monday upfronts presentation, Fox is already shifting schedules around.

“Pitch” and “Bones” are swapping seasons, meaning viewers can watch the female-centric, MLB-themed drama this fall, instead of waiting for spring and a fresh baseball season. But why the move? One insider told TheWrap that Fox wants to use its Major League Baseball postseason games and coverage to promote “Pitch” (pictured above).

That makes sense, but it also plops the final season of “Bones” back to winter, when it’ll eventually meet up with “Rosewood.” The two should prove simpatico plot-wise.

Additionally, now “Prison Break” will air on Tuesdays this spring instead of Thursdays, which Fox feels is the better evening for it.
