Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s romantic comedy series “Run” has received a pilot order from HBO, the network said Thursday.

“Run” is described as a romantic comedic thriller about two exes who agree that if they ever need to escape life, they’ll text each other “run” and disappear together.

The show is produced for HBO by Entertainment One, and written by Vicky Jones, co-artistic director and co-founder of DryWrite. Jones and Waller-Bridge will executive produce, along with Emily Leo for Wigwam Films.

The “Fleabag” and “Killing Eve” creator will have a recurring role in the show, should it get picked up to series, as Flick.

Jones is London’s National Theatre’s Playwright in Residence, and directed the original stage production and revival of “Fleabag” at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and London’s Soho Theater.

Jones is repped by UTA in the US and United Agents in the UK. Waller-Bridge is repped by UTA and Ziffren Brittenham in the U.S. and Independent Talent Group and Hatton McEwan Penford in the U.K.
