The PGA Championship is staying on CBS for 11 more years, with ESPN getting a piece as well.

The golf organization announced on Wednesday that beginning in 2020, the major tournament will be split across both networks, with ESPN taking over early-round coverage for TNT, with CBS maintaining rights for the final rounds over the weekend.

And in a boost to ESPN’s nascent subscription streaming service, the TV coverage will be streamed on ESPN+. For CBS, the new deal will add an additional hour of coverage each day, along with expanded highlights and digital rights, including the ability to air it on CBS All Access.

The deal carries through the 2030 event. The first event under the deal will be held at Harding Park in San Francisco.

“For nearly a half-century, CBS Sports has been a vital member of the PGA of America extended family while delivering our major championship to golf fans across the country,” said PGA CEO Seth Waugh. “We are also thrilled to partner with ESPN and connect with sports fans through the reach of the ESPN networks. The PGA is a major that not only typically delivers the strongest field in golf, but is synonymous with historic moments that resonate with golf fans everywhere. As we move this iconic championship to May, we are extremely excited that CBS and ESPN will present the highest-quality product with the state-of-the-art technology through a broadcast team that shares our mission to grow the sport of golf.”

In 2019, the PGA Championship moves to May, making it the second major tournament. Usually airing in August, the PGA Championship will now be held following The Masters in April, ahead of both the U.S. and British Opens. CBS and ESPN have a similar partnership for The Masters.

CBS, which first broadcast the event from 1958-1964, has been the home of the PGA Championship since 1991. ESPN also has a long history with the event, having last aired it in 1990.
