Peter Krause will star with Angela Bassett in Fox’s drama “9-1-1” from creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.
Tim Minear (“Feud,” “American Horror Story”) is onboard as executive producer and showrunner, and McG is directing the series premiere.
The series, launching in 2018, is a procedural drama that focuses on police, paramedics and firefighters as they try to save lives in shocking and frightening situations.
“9-1-1” hails from 20th Century Fox Television, in association with Ryan Murphy Television and Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision. Murphy and Falchuk, co-creators of FX’s anthology series “American Horror Story,” wrote and executive produce the pilot for “9-1-1.”
Krause played Nate Fisher on HBO’s “Six Feet Under” and recently co-starred on ABC’s “The Catch,” which was canceled in May.
Bassett has previously worked with Murphy and Falchuk on multiple seasons of “AHS.”
