The “wife” penguin wants to set the record straight — she’s tired of social media labeling her a “h–” without hearing her side of the story first.
Shortly after the National Geographic Channel posted a video on Friday of a penguin getting into a bloody brawl after coming home to find his wife cheating with another bird, Twitter accounts for the penguins surfaced, ensuing in more drama.
“I see that people are already calling me a h– without hearing my side of the story,” tweeted the wife penguin. “Hey husband penguin coming here to claim like the victim 100% wouldn’t work. I must speak out too.”

Long story short, the wife accused her husband of being a cheater himself… so she took action into her own hands.

Of course, the husband and “homewrecker” also have Twitter accounts of their own — and they aren’t staying silent either.
The husband bird said he was just out trying to provide for his family and that he would never cheat.

And the homewrecker penguin just wanted to remind everyone who the true victor was despite all the drama.

The wife also pleaded to National Geographic asking them to release the full video of what actually happened.

Apparently the two minutes of bird violence captured on video wasn’t enough for social media because a few people took to Twitter to create fake accounts for the penguins. The messy love triangle story continued, taking many unexpected twists and turns.
Even with real people behind the accounts, the feud still remains a “he said, she said,” and we might never know what actually transpired.
