Patton Oswalt, Adam Scott, Kristen Bell and more celebrities read texts from their moms on “Kimmel” on Thursday night in anticipation of Mother’s Day this Sunday — and it will crack you up.
Anna Faris received a text from her mom at 3:34 a.m. one day saying, “As you know know [sic] we truly believe you are the greatest actress of your generation. We do someday hope you transition into dramatic work. I also woke up because I am worried you are not wearing enough sunscreen and taking the B-12 I got you from a Costco.”
Ike Barinholtz got a text about Donald Trump saying, “He must have a very small peanut.” Her next text read, “Peanut,” which was then followed up by: “Penis. Sorry I hate this phone!”
Adam Scott was asked whether it is “OK for a grandma to lust,” while Tony Hale was told by his mother that she still doesn’t “get” his show “Arrested Development.”
Oswalt flat-out said that his mom doesn’t know how to text, while Will Forte just received a series of emojis from his mom, culminating in rows and rows of ducks.
