The parents of a stuntman killed in an explosion while filming "The Expendables 2" in Bulgaria filed suit in a Los Angeles court against NuImage, Millenium Films and other filmmakers connected with the movie, according to court documents obtained by TheWrap.
The plaintiffs allege negligence on the part of those associated with the production.
Kun Liu, 26, died on Oct. 27, 2011 in an explosion while filming a stunt for the movie on Lake Ognyanova in Bulgaria, 15 miles outside Sofia.

Now Liu's parents, Zong Yu Liu and Yan Mei Bai, are seeking damages to be determined by a jury trial, plus general damages, burial expenses and court costs, the documents say.
Nuo Sun, another stuntman, was seriously injured in the accident on a rubber boat during the stunt.
The plaintiffs allege that the studios and filmmakers failed to adequately prepare the stuntmen, who could not read or write English, for handling the explosives.
