EXCLUSIVE
Wanna know what Paramount's up to? Lots — and TheWrap has the goods in the form of a detailed email about the studio's development slate.
A few highlights:
* "Hurt Locker" director Kathryn Bigelow has met with Will Smith for her next feature film "Triple Frontier."
* J.J. Abrams has an idea to turn the popular kissing game 7 Minutes in Heaven into a thriller about two teens who enter a closet and emerge only to find all of their friends dead.
* Paramount is negotiating to pick up Jason Reitman's "Young Adult," a dark comedy that reunites him with Oscar-winning "Juno" screenwriter Diablo Cody.
For it's part, Paramount says the email is not official.
"This is not a Paramount document," a Paramount spokesman told TheWrap. "It has some correct information and some inaccurrate information."
Overall, it's a promising slate of projects, featuring an intriguing mix of awards contenders and more commercial movies, including plenty of comedies and thrillers. (See accompanying slideshow: Paramount's Upcoming Slate)
