Paramount has brought in PR vet Mic Kramer as executive VP of international publicity.
Kramer, most recently a senior VP of worldwide marketing and PR at GK Films, will report to Nic Crawley, president of international theatrical marketing, and Megan Colligan, president of domestic marketing and distribution.
Previously he served publicity stints at Warner Bros. and New Line.
At GK Films, he oversaw worldwide marketing and publicity campaigns for “Hugo” and Angelina Jolie’s directorial debut, “In the Land of Blood and Honey.” He also handled GK’s corporate and award campaigns and all marketing, publicity and social media materials for its overseas partners.
Kramer was senior VP of international publicity at Warners from 1998 until 2008. During his tenure, Kramer created the global campaigns for the “Harry Potter” franchise, “The Matrix” trilogy and “Batman Begins.”
As publicity VP for New Line, he worked on “The Mask,” “Dumb and Dumber” and “Boogie Nights.”
Earlier in his career, he was publicity director at Dennis Davidson & Associates, handling New Line and Castle Rock's accounts as well as those for the Toronto, Venice and London Film Festivals.
