“Dancing With the Stars” contestant Paige VanZant only recently got serious about her chances of winning the Mirrorball trophy on the ABC reality competition series.
“I really realized, ‘Hey, I could win this’” the quarterfinalist told TheWrap’s Stuart Brazell during an interview at Studio Wrap. “I really realized that I was in the competition after last week.”
VanZant, a mixed martial arts fighter, is partnered with professional dancer Mark Ballas on the show and teased that she will be doing two dances on Monday’s episode: one is a waltz with Ballas, and a Pasa Doble with Antonio Brown, a fellow celebrity contestant.
“This is going to be a good one,” she teased.
VanZant also discussed the different ways she prepares for a fight versus a dance, what her pump-up music is, and how she’s adjusting to being a social media maven.
