Big Foster finally has the power to remove Asa from Shay Mountain in this week’s “Outsiders.”
In last week’s episode, Foster(David Morse) killed his mother, Lady Ray (Phyllis Somerville), to take control of the Farrell Clan. Now that he is in charge, he begins his reign as Bren’in by purging the mountain of his enemies, starting with Asa (Joe Anderson).
In an exclusive clip of this week’s episode obtained by TheWrap, Foster tells Asa that he was too tainted by his time off the mountain to continue living among the rest of the clan. Asa then gets a first hand at how Foster plans to rule the mountain through the use of firepower.
This week’s episode, titled “It’s Good to be King,” was written by Sara Goodman and directed by Peter Werner. Peter Mattei wrote and created the series in addition to executive producing.
Fedora Entertainment’s Emmy Award winner Peter Tolan (“Rescue Me,” “Analyze This”), Emmy Award-winning actor Paul Giamatti (“John Adams,” “Sideways”), Dan Carey (“All Is Bright”) for Touchy Feely Films and Fedora’s Michael Wimer (“2012,” “Rake”) also serve as executive producers.
“Outsiders” airs tonight at 9 p.m./8c on WGN America.
