Kimmel referenced Donald Trump’s unfriendly comments about Meryl Streep in his opening monologue, calling the actress “overrated” and accusing her of “phoning it in” throughout her career.
The Tour Bus
One of the biggest segments of the show featured Kimmel bringing in a Hollywood tour bus full of people to hang out in the front row with stars such as Denzel Washington and Nicole Kidman.
Tweeting Trump

“We Bought a Zoo”
Kimmel kept up his long-running feud with Matt Damon with a joke Best Picture segment that featured Damon’s seldom-seen 2011 film “We Bought a Zoo.”

In keeping with the Damon-bashing, Kimmel made sure the band drowned out Damon as he and Ben Affleck tried to announce the winner for Best Original Screenplay.
