The first images from Season 2 of the Netflix comedy series teases its return in June

“Orange Is the New Black” returns to Netflix this spring, and the streaming service has released three new stills from the second season, including a first look at a new character.

The 13-episode second season of the comedy series based on based on Piper Kerman’s best-selling book of the same name, and executive produced by “Weeds” creator Jenji Kohan, takes a closer look at the eccentric prisoners Taylor Schilling‘s character (above) met last year, while welcoming another.

Former “Friday Night Lights” star Lorraine Toussaint (below) joins the cast as Yvonne “Vee” Parker, and the new inmate appears to have beef with another one of Litchfield’s finest.

According to the Netflix, Season 2 will explore “shifting alliances” and “conflicts we never saw coming” when it returns for your binge-watching pleasure on June 6.

Schilling leadings the returning ensemble cast, including Jason Biggs, Laura Prepon, Kate Mulgrew, Danielle Brooks, Uzo Aduba, Natasha Lyonne, Taryn Manning, Laverne Cox, Michael Harney, Samira Wiley, and Yael Stone.
