Oprah’s Farewell Show Gets the Letterman Top 10 Treatment (Video)

Late night host pays tongue-in-cheek tribute to queen of daytime talk after her final syndicated show

Pretty much everyone was stirred by Oprah Winfrey's farewell to syndicated television on Wednesday. But for "Late Show" host David Letterman, it was personal. After all, he and the queen of daytime talk shows have a past.

From the ultra-awkward "Oprah, Uma" Oscars joke to Winfrey's frosty reception toward Letterman's late-night jabs at her, the pair have had a bumpy relationship that was partially smoothed over when Winfrey finally appeared on "The Late Show." And on his show Thursday night, Letterman offered a final bit of closure with his Top 10 list, "Top Ten Surprises in the Final Oprah Show."

Item Number 10: "Read list of all the people who can kiss her ass."

Wonder if Dave was on there….
