Outgoing CBS syndication executive Terry Wood is not in talks to join the Oprah Winfrey Network, an OWN spokeswoman says.
The spokeswoman was responding to a New York Post report that said Wood, who quit Monday as president of creative affairs and development at CBS Television Distribution, was in talks to handle programming for OWN.
"Absolutely not true," the spokeswoman told TheWrap.
Wood did not immediately return a call for comment Wednesday.
Wood is credited with making syndicated stars of Phil McGraw and Rachael Ray. She also managed such franchises as “Entertainment Tonight” and “Judge Judy.”
