Bieber fever has Gotham in its death grip.
Justin Bieber has been all over New York this week promoting "Never Say Never," his upcoming 3-D film. And it appears the pop sensation's publicity blitz (David Letterman, MTV, Times Square, "106 & Park," "Regis and Kelly" — even "The Daily Show") will take him to "Saturday Night Live," too.
Bieber is expected to make a surprise appearance on the show, the Hollywood Reporter reports.
Dana Carvey is hosting, with Linkin Park slated to be the official musical guest.
A spokesperson for NBC would not comment on a potential Bieber appearance, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. (Hence, the "surprise" part.)
If it does, it will be Bieber's second official appearance on "SNL." (He was a featured musical guest in 2010.)
"Never Say Never" opens Feb. 11.
