O.J. Simpson said he remembers grabbing the knife that killed his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman in a preview for a new special featuring footage from a 2006 interview with Judith Regan.
“It’s not easy to discuss,” Simpson said of the events of June 12, 1994, in the latest preview.
“This is hypothetical,” he continued. “I remember I grabbed the knife, I do remember that portion.”
“Where are the bloody clothes? So somebody had to get rid of the bloody clothes,” he said. “We’ve all seen the grizzly pictures, after. So yeah, I think everything was covered, would have been covered in blood … It was horrible. It was absolutely horrible.”
Of course, we don’t have the full context on the interview in the preview, and it seems he’s talking in hypotheticals — the special is described as Simpson giving a “gripping account of what might have happened that fateful night.”
But as viewers are asked: “Does he confess? You be the judge.”
You can watch “O.J. Simpson: The Lost Confession” Sunday March 11 on Fox at 8 p.m.
