‘Ninja Turtle’ Star Will Arnett Kicks the Stuffing Out of Defenseless Pinatas on ‘Tonight Show’ (Video)

His karate moves are unconventional to say the least

Will Arnett is one of the top-billed performers in Jonathan Liebesman‘s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” but you wouldn’t know it by observing his karate skills on “The Tonight Show.”

Jimmy Fallon blindfolded the gifted comedian Thursday and asked him to kick the stuffing (literally) out of several rotating piñatas, which is probably harder than it sounds. Unsurprisingly, Arnett only managed to solidly connect with one.

In Arnett’s defense, he doesn’t play a kung fu master in the action film — which opened Friday — but instead cowardly reporter Vernon Fenwick. Which totally explains the awkward flailing.

The “Tonight” host tried his luck at karate piñata, too, with slightly better results.

Perhaps the most exciting moment of Arnett’s appearance came during his interview when he confirmed to Fallon and to the world that Netflix plans to shoot a fifth season of “Arrested Development.”
