Nicole Richie channels her inner Taylor Swift for a “Bad Blood” parody in Thursday’s episode of “Great News,” and NBC has just released the clip.
Titled “Wash Dish, Bish” (a nod to “Swish Swish” by Swift’s former friend and rumored “Bad Blood” target Katy Perry, perhaps?), the music video parody is a shot fired by Richie’s character, Portia Scott-Griffith, in her own feud with her boss, Diana St. Tropez, played by guest star Tina Fey.
Like Swift’s star-studded video, the parody trots out a handful of characters for short displays of violent badassery under semi-menacing nicknames like “Calamity” and “Kick-splosion.”
“You better wash dish, bish,” Richie sings. “I’ve had enough of your ish, bish / I’m a famous and rich bish / So you better watch dish, bish.”
At the end of the clip, Diana reacts to the video with a “Not today,” suggesting “Wash Dish, Bish” won’t go without a response.
“Great News” airs Thursdays at 9:30/8:30c on NBC.
