Nicole Kidman, Alexander Skarsgård, Bill Skarsgård, Anya-Taylor Joy and Willem Dafoe are all in talks to star in the next film from “The Lighthouse” and “The Witch” director Robert Eggers called “The Northman,” according to THR.

The feature film is set in the time of the Vikings and is a drama currently set up at New Regency. All five actors are in various stages of discussions to star.

Lars Knudsen, who produced Eggers’s “The Witch,” is producing, as is Alexander Skarsgård.

“The Northman” is set during the 10th century in Iceland and tells the story of a Nordic prince seeking revenge for the death of his father. Eggers co-wrote the screenplay along with the Icelandic poet and novelist Sjón. If the deal proceeds, Alexander Skarsgård would play the Nordic prince, and Kidman would play his mother.

Both Kidman and Skarsgård are reuniting since being paired as a married couple on “Big Little Lies.” Kidman has the Fox News movie “Bombshell” coming up next, while Skarsgård has “Godzilla vs. Kong.”

Dafoe and Joy are also reuniting with Eggers. Dafoe stars alongside Robert Pattinson in Eggers’ psychological drama “The Lighthouse,” which opens in limited release this weekend. And Joy was the breakout star of Eggers’ debut horror film “The Witch,” which also stuck to a period setting. She’ll next be seen in Edgar Wright’s “Last Night in Soho.”

As for Bill Skarsgård, he previously co-starred with his brother Alexander on the 2000 Swedish thriller “White Water Fury.” He most recently was seen in “It Chapter Two” and “Villains” from earlier this year.
