Nick Gordon’s Feud With Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Family Turns Nasty

The battle between Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family and her boyfriend, 21-year-old Nick Gordon, was intensifying Sunday.

“Let me in the hospital to see my girl and let her hear my voice and SHE WILL WAKE UP!!!,” Gordon tweeted Saturday night.

Gordon says he has been barred by the family from seeing Brown, who remains in a medically-induced coma at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta three weeks after she was discovered by Gordon and a friend. The daughter of the late Whitney Houston remains in critical condition after being found facedown and unconscious in her bathtub on Jan. 31.

Brown’s tweet drew a fast and pointed response from Christopher Brown, an attorney for her father, Bobby Brown.

“To address the continued and never ending media requests for comment about Mr. Gordon’s requests to visit Bobbi Kristina, let me be very clear, Mr. Gordon was offered an opportunity to potentially visit Bobbi Kristina and he declined to meet the terms of any possible visit. We are only concerned with individuals that can help Bobbi Kristina and bring resolution to this investigation. Obviously Mr. Gordon is not as desperate to visit Bobbi Kristina as he wants the world to believe.”

Gordon fired back on Sunday, with a statement issued by his lawyer Randall M. Kessler.

“Bobby Brown has consistently prohibited Nick, who Bobbi Kristina would want by her side, from being there,” Kessler said.

“Per his own words, Mr. Brown has only ‘offered an opportunity to potentially meet with Bobbi Kristina’ if Nick were to meet certain conditions, conditions that we, his attorneys, have advised him not to meet, particularly in light of Mr. Brown’s inability to guarantee access. But in an effort to do all he can to visit, Nick has repeatedly offered to meet with Mr. Brown privately to discuss his request in person, rather than through lawyers. Those offers have also been rejected. We hope Mr. Brown has a change of heart.”

Gordon and Bobbi Kristina’s relationship has been the target of intense media speculation for years.

Following Whitney Houston‘s death in 2012, Bobbi Kristina grew closer to Gordon, who Whitney affectionately referred to as her son.

Bobbi Kristina and Gordon lived together as siblings for more than a decade because his biological mother could not care for him. Once the two began to date, their relationship raised eyebrows and sparked tabloid headlines, which frequently described him as her “brother-boyfriend.”

In Sept. 2013, Bobbi Kristina announced their engagement on Twitter and posted pictures of a diamond ring. The two declared their love on social media and on Jan. 9, 2014, Bobbi Kristina tweeted that they were husband and wife, writing: “Happily married. So in love.”

But in a statement on Feb. 3, 2015, Bobby Brown’s attorney, Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC, said that Bobbi Kristina and live-in partner Gordon were never married. As police looked into the circumstances surrounding Bobbi Kristina’s near-drowning, Bobby Brown‘s sister Leolah Brown said she believed Gordon would be implicated.

“I believe Nick Gordon will be charged with this,” she said during a television interview. “I hope that he will be charged with this, as well. Soon. I really do.” The case is still ongoing.
