In a new trailer for MTV’s “Scream” series, we finally get a look at the mysterious masked killer as he or she begins picking off a group of high school students.
The series focuses on the town of Lakewood. After a cyber bullying incident goes too far, the killer wreaks havoc on young people in the town. It exposes painful memories from everyone’s past and forces people to confront the choices they have made.
The series is based on the film franchise created by the legendary horror master Wes Craven, which originally starred Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, and David Arquette.
The series stars Willa Fitzgerald, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Carlson Young, John Karna, Connor Weil, and Bobby Campo. Bella Thorne will appear in the pilot.
“Scream” premieres on MTV on June 30.
