Fan girls from the 1980s rejoice. New Kids on the Block will tour again, the band announced on ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Tuesday.
The heartthrob quintet revealed its upcoming tour, dubbed “The Main Event,” with artists Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas of TLC and rapper Nelly. The tour kicks off May 1 in Las Vegas and wraps up July 2 in Buffalo, New York.
“We always have something special up our sleeves,” said NKOTB member Donnie Wahlberg. “Our fans keep asking us to come back out on the road, and we want to keep giving them what they want! We wanted to make sure it was something new and fresh and fun and totally worthwhile for all of our supporters year after year. This year, we are making it ‘The Main Event.’ And we promise, it will be the ticket of the summer.”
Promoted by Live Nation, the tour includes 42 stops across the nation and Canada. The concert will stop in Los Angeles Saturday, May 9 at The Forum.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, Jan. 31 here . American Express Card members can purchase advance tickets starting Friday, Jan. 23 at 10 a.m.
