“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is the rare comic book movie that takes on deep, relevant issues in a head-on way, exploring the national debate on domestic spying, drones, and the very definition of freedom.
But don’t worry, it still has plenty of sweet ass-kicking, as evidenced by the new, extended clip just released online by Disney.

Here we find Cap (Chris Evans) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) on their way to free a gigantic boat that has been seized by pirates off the coast of Africa. Sadly, there is no impressive, complex pirate here to take Steve Rogers hostage and say “I’m the captain now,” but all in all, there’s some pretty good back-and-forth, especially between our two Avengers.
Frank Grillo also features in the scene, while the mini-trailer that follows focuses on Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Redford, and The Winter Soldier, who, spoiler alert, is a bad guy.
“Winter Soldier” hits theaters April 4.
