Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron” does a roll call of its heroes in the newest footage released from the highly anticipated comic book adaptation sequel, and for the first time, newcomers Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are added to the lineup.
“If you step out that door, you’re an Avenger,” Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) is seen telling the Maximoff twins (played by Aaron Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen) in the new 60-second spot.
The two were introduced in the post-credits sequence of “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and will start off with their villainous roots firmly intact, but clearly the good guys will need their help in defeating Ultron (James Spader).
Allegiances are made more than clear when they are introduced with their aliases right alongside Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr), Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Hawkeye.
“The Avengers: Age of Ultron” will be released on May 1. Watch the new promo above.
