Netflix has bolstered its ranks with the addition of Jane Wiseman, who’s joined the company’s original programming team as a senior executive.
Wiseman had previously been with Chernin Entertainment, overseeing comedy development and production. Prior to her stint at Chernin, Wiseman toiled at NBC and Universal Television, overseeing the development of “Parks and Recreation” and “Community.”

She also worked at Fox Broadcasting, where she played a key role in developing “Arrested Development” — a series that was revived to great fanfare by Netflix earlier this year.
Wiseman will report to Netflix’s vice president, original series Cindy Holland, and will work alongside senior Netflix executives Peter Friedlander and Nina Wolarsky.
