The six-episode series will follow the Murphy family in the 1970’s, with Burr providing the voice of Frank, the family’s extreme patriarch, Dern as his wife Sue, and Long voicing the family’s oldest son, Kevin.
“F is for Family” was created by Burr and Michael Price, who won two Emmys while writing for “The Simpsons.” Vince Vaughn‘s Wild West Television and Gaumont International Television are producing the series.

“Bill is the funniest, most original voice out there,” said Vaughn. “We’re all excited to be working with Netflix on this project.”
“F is for Family is the show I’ve always wanted to do,” Burr said of the project. “It captures all the characters of my childhood the way I remember it to be. Fortunately Mike Price and everyone at Wild West seem to know the same people I knew growing up. It’s going to be a lot of fun to tell these stories.”
