Tuesday night is “NCIS” night in America.
CBS once-again handily topped its competition with the powerful procedural. NBC finished in second place with a pair of “Chicago” shows, as it does.
The Les Moonves-led broadcast channel was first in ratings with a 1.8 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 11.9 million, according to preliminary numbers. At 8 p.m., “NCIS” scored a 2.4/8 and 17.4 million viewers. At 9, “NCIS: New Orleans” earned a 1.8/6 and 12.5 million viewers. “Limitless” at 10 received a 1.1/4 and 5.9 million viewers.
NBC was second in ratings with a 1.4/5 and in viewers with 6.2 million. At 8, “Hollywood Game Night” had a 1.1/4 and 4.2 million viewers. “Chicago Med” at 9 got a 1.5/5 and 6.7 million viewers. “Chicago Fire” at 10 received a 1.6/5 and 7.7 million viewers.
The CW was third in ratings with a 1.0/3 and fourth in viewers with 2.6 million. “The Flash” at 8 posted a 1.4/5 and 3.8 million viewers. At 9, “iZombie” managed a 0.6/2 and 1.5 million viewers.
ABC, Fox and Univision all tied for fourth in ratings, each with a 0.8. ABC and Fox had a 3 share, Univision got a 2. ABC was third in total viewers with 2.9 million; Fox was fifth with 2.2 million; Univision was sixth with 1.9 million.
For ABC, “Fresh Off the Boat” at 8 had a 1.2/4 and 4.5 million viewers. At 8:30, “The Muppets” got a 0.8/3 and 2.6 million viewers. Two hours of “Marvel’s Agent
For Fox, “New Girl” at 8 posted a 1.2/4 and 2.7 million viewers. At 8:30, “Grandfathered” got a 0.8/2 and 2.2 million viewers. At 9, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” had a 0.9/3 and 2.1 million viewers. At 9:30, “The Grinder” received a 0.6/2 and 1.6 million viewers.
Telemundo was seventh in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in viewers with 1.3 million.
