NBCSN Scores Record Viewership for May

Stanley Cup playoffs and Spanish Grand Prix race help boost sports network to a personal best

NBCSN brought its A game in May, delivering its most-watched primetime month in the network’s history.

For the period ranging from April 28 to May 25, NBCSN averaged 1.1 million primetime viewers. In the 18-49 demographic most important to advertisers, the network also logged a primetime monthly record, averaging 556,000 viewers in the demo.

Much of the record viewership was due to the second and third rounds of the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs, along with the conclusion of the Premier League season and a nail-biter of a Formula One race in the Spanish Grand Prix.
