NBC just won its fourth-straight September to September season in the key 18-49 demo’s TV ratings. CBS claimed the same 52-week span in terms of total viewers, the amazing 14th time in 15 years that we can report that.
This past fiscal year marked NBC’s first year-long victory without an Olympics or Super Bowl in 14 years. And the network’s margin of victory, +27 percent, marks the largest gap over No. 2 at this point in 19 years.
NBC is also about to close out its seventh-straight summer atop the Nielsen leaderboard, thanks in large part to “America’s Got Talent,” “World of Dance” and “American Ninja Warrior.”
