NBC has given early renewals to “Chicago Fire,” its spinoff “Chicago PD” and “Grimm.”
These series join previously renewed shows “The Blacklist,” “Parks and Recreation,” “The Voice” and “Celebrity Apprentice.”
“Chicago Fire” currently ranks No. 1 in the Tuesday 10 p.m. slot among the broadcast networks this season in the advertiser-coveted Adults 18-49. It’s averaging a 3.1 rating/9 share in that demo and 10.6 million viewers.

Executive produced by Dick Wolf, Matt Olmstead, Danielle Gelber, Michael Brandt, Derek Haas, Peter Jankowski, Joe Chappelle, “Chicago Fire” is currently in its second season.
Its spinoff, “Chicago PD,” will move into its second season next year with this order. It’s averaging a 2.5/7 in the advertiser demographic and 8.9 million total viewers this season.
Both series are produced by Universal Television and Wolf Films.

Supernatural drama, “Grimm,” which moved to Fridays in its second season, has thrived in what once was considered the night where series go to die. It’s currently the No. 1 Friday series across all broadcast networks. Currently in its third season, the series is averaging a 2.5/8 in the ad demo.
A Universal Television and Hazy Mills production, the series was created by executive producers David Greenwalt, Jim Kouf and Stephen Carpenter. Sean Hayes, Todd Milliner and Norberto Barba serve as executive producers.
“The Blacklist” was renewed for a second season in December.
