Ratings: NBA Finals Tops Crop Again

ABC finishes first outright

ABC reigned supreme Tuesday with Game 3 of the NBA Finals, when the San Antonio Spurs topped the Miami Heat to take a 2-1 lead.

NBC finished second with “America’s Got Talent” and “Night Shift.”

ABC was first in ratings with a 4.0 rating/13 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and first in viewers with an average of 10.1 million, according to preliminary numbers. At 8 p.m., “Jimmy Kimmel Game Night” had a 1.9/7 and 6.2 million viewers. “NBA Countdown” at 8:30 got a 2.4/8 and 6.8 million viewers. The game itself earned a night-high 4.9/15 and 11.9 million viewers.

NBC was second in ratings with a 2.2/7 and in viewers with 9.9 million. “America’s Got Talent” at 8 received a 2.6/8 and 11.5 million viewers. “Night Shift” at 10 got a 1.5/5 and 6.9 million viewers.

Univision was third in ratings with a 1.1/4 and fourth in viewers with 2.8 million.

CBS was fourth in ratings with a 0.8/2 and third in viewers with 6.5 million, airing entirely reruns.

Telemundo was fifth in ratings with a 0.7/2 and in total viewers with 1.6 million.

Fox was sixth in ratings with a 0.4/1 and in total viewers with 1.1 million. At 8, “Riot” had a 0.4/2 and 1.2 million viewers. “I Wanna Marry Harry” got a 0.4/1 and 992,000 viewers.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in total viewers with 678,000. At 8, “Famous in 12” got a 0.3/1 and 735,000 viewers. A repeat followed.
