Nathan Fielder’s “The Rehearsal” is set to return to HBO for its second season on April 20 at 10:30 p.m. ET.
The comedy series follows one man’s journey to reduce the uncertainties of everyday life. With a construction crew, a legion of actors and seemingly unlimited resources, Fielder helps ordinary people prepare for life’s biggest moments by “rehearsing” them in carefully crafted simulations of his own design, according to the show’s logline.
In the six-episode second installment, the urgency of Fielder’s project grows as he decides to put his resources toward an issue that affects us all.

In addition to serving as the show’s star, Fielder is writer, director and executive producer.
Other EPs include Eric Notarnicola, Dave Paige, and Christie Smith & Dan McManus for Rise Management, while Kris Eber and Carrie Kemper are co-executive producers with Adam Locke-Norton as a producer. Additional writers include Notarnicola, Kemper and Locke-Norton.
New episodes will air Sundays on HBO and stream on Max.
