Meet Natalie Portman’s Creepy ‘My Little Stepchildren’ Dolls in Cut for Time ‘SNL’ Skit (Video)

Not all of us were cut out to be mommies

If you have a fear of dolls, well you should probably look away now, because the ones Natalie Portman is promoting in this cut for time “Saturday Night Live” sketch would freak out even the bravest of us. Well, unless you are really into being a wicked step mother, that is.

“I bought my kid a doll and I asked her, ‘Lisa, are you her mommy?’ she said, ‘Mommy? Where’s the drama in that? I’m her wicked step-mommy,’” Portman’s character says in the commercial for a “My Little Stepchildren” doll, a skit that was sadly not included in her hosting gig last Saturday.

The toy is specifically targeted at children with a “flair for the dramatic,” like Portman’s kid in the ad, who appears to have some very intense ideas about parenting herself.

In the clip, we see the little girl lock away her dolls’ birth certificates, sending them off to boarding school, and throw letters from her birth mother into a fire. Yeah, this is really healthy.
