National Geographic announced that a slew of celebrity guests will be joining the upcoming seasons of “Running Wild with Bear Grylls” and the “Brain Games” reboot hosted by Keegan Michael-Key.
The “Running Wild” celebrity guest lineup includes “Free Solo” star Alex Honnold, Armie Hammer, Brie Larson, Bobby Bones, Cara Delevingne, Channing Tatum, Dave Bautista, Joel McHale, Rob Riggle, and Zachary Quinto.
Appearing on “Brain Games” as celebrity guests will be Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard, Anthony Anderson and Marsai Martin, Rebel Wilson, Ted Danson, Mark Cuban, Jack Black, Kyle Gass and Meghan Trainor, Tiffany Haddish, and Drew Brees. Other celebrities making cameos throughout the season will include Tim Allen, Colin Hanks, Tom Hanks, Kevin Hart, Gillian Jacobs, Thomas Middleditch, Jordan Peele, Ben Schwartz and Marcus Scribner.
According to the network, the upcoming season of “Running Wild” features Grylls going all-out with the celebrity guests, who will push themselves beyond their limits by leaving civilization behind for a no-holds-barred journey through the most extreme environments on the planet.
“The ‘Running Wild’ team is so excited that our adventure series has really found its home on National Geographic with our fifth season,” Grylls said. “I’m so proud that each Hollywood A-lister, who joins me on these journeys through the wild, always has such a life-affirming experience. This season of “Brain Games” finds Key, world-famous mentalist Lior Suchard, and field correspondent and science communicator Cara Santa Maria guiding celebrities through a series of experiments, illusions and demonstrations to help them realize their untapped brainpower. “Brain Games” S is produced by Magical Elves with Alfred Street Industries.
New seasons of “Running Wild with Bear Grylls” and “Brain Games” will premiere November 5 and December 1, respectively, on Nat Geo.
