ABC is returning to the ice this November.
The network will air two figure skating specials on subsequent Sundays this Thanksgiving season, featuring many of the top U.S. names in the sport.

Disson Skating will produce the Colgate Skating Series, which will be hosted by Olympic Champion and “Dancing with the Stars” winner Kristi Yamaguchi and three-time U.S. National Champion Michael Weiss.
The specials will feature skaters including Meryl Davis and Charlie White, Brian Boitano, Nancy Kerrigan, and Evan Lysacek, and performances by musicians Amy Grant, Lou Gramm (the “Voice of Foreigner”) and Paul Rodgers of Bad Company.

Each two-hour special will feature world-renowned Olympic figure skating champions and musicians, along with the skaters’ families, Olympic gymnasts and dancing professionals. The show will be the first of a multi-year agreement between Disson Skating (and producer Steve Gisson) and ABC, it also marks the return of figure skating to the network, which has a long history airing the sport.
First up on Sunday, Nov. 23 will be the “Musselman’s Apple Sauce Family Skating Tribute,” a family-themed show featuring skaters performing with their children. Skaters taking the ice at Penn State’s Pegula Ice Arena include Kerrigan, Ekaterina Gordeeva, Ilia Kulik and Kurt Browning, skating to live a live musical performance from six-time Grammy Award-winning musical artist, Amy Grant.

Next on Sunday, Nov. 30 will be “The Pandora Unforgettable Holiday Moments on Ice” special, featuring festive holiday ice skating routines with a cast of Olympic, World and National champion skaters at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena along with Gramm and Rodgers singing holiday classics and their biggest hits.
“The Musselman’s Apple Sauce Family Skating Tribute” will premiere on ABC on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 4 p.m. ET, with an encore presentation airing on Sunday, Dec. 7 during the same time frame. “The Pandora Unforgettable Holiday Moments on Ice” special will first air on ABC on Sunday, Nov. 30 at 4 p.m. ET, with an encore presentation airing on Sunday, Dec. 14 during the same time frame.
