“Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Return” has scored a second season on Netflix.
Jonah Ray, host of the rebooted show, made the announcements at the end of a Thanksgiving Day marathon of six classic episodes.
“I can finally afford that rowboat I’ve had my eye on,” Ray told fellow castmates Joel Hodgson and Felicia Day.
Netflix revived the cult favorite show last spring — 18 years after the original aired for 11 years and 197 episodes on both Comedy Central and the Sci-Fi Channel.
Ray, supposedly imprisoned by mad scientists and forced to watch awful B-movies with his robot companions, provides running commentary on the cinematic dreck.
