Diana Mogollon has been named general manager of mun2, the Telemundo-owned cable network targeting bicultural Latinos in the 18-34 demographic.
Mogollon will report to Jacqueline Hernandez, Telemundo's chief operating officer.
Mogollon will focus on developing mun2's overall strategy, focusing on identifying opportunities for mun2 that drive ratings, digital traffic and align the organization for future growth.
“Diana’s deep understanding and knowledge of the U.S. Hispanic audience has been an integral part of our successful marketing strategy and initiatives over the last five years,” Hernández said in a statement. “In this critical role, she will leverage that success and take the mun2 network and brand to new heights, connecting with the most influential segment of the U.S. Latino population.”
Mogollon joined Telemundo in 2005 as VP of programming and marketing and served as the network’s West Coast liaison.
Before joining Telemundo, she was vice president of Galan Entertainment and, before that, coordinator in the original programming department at Lifetime.
