The 2015 MTV Movie Awards celebrated the best performances, heroes, villains and kisses in film this year, broadcasting live from downtown Los Angeles’ Nokia Theater.
Shailene Woodley won big, collecting Best Kiss, Best Female Performance and the Trailblazer award from her “Spectacular Now” costar Miles Teller. In addition to breakout stars, some institutions managed to surprise: Meryl Streep finally has an MTV Movie Award, for her part as the Witch in “Into The Woods.”
Host Amy Schumer sent up some big movie hits in her opening monologue, including “Whiplash,” “Divergent,” “Pitch Perfect” and “Boyhood.”
