Rachel Maddow will moderate a forum for Democratic presidential candidates on Nov. 6, MSNBC announced on Thursday.

Maddow, who hosts her own show on the cable news network, will speak with the three remaining Democratic presidential candidates — Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley — about a range of topics during the event to be held on the campus of Winthrop University in South Carolina.

“The First in the South Democratic Candidates Forum,” sponsored by the South Carolina Democratic Party, is not to be confused with the second of six sanctioned debates by the Democratic National Committee.

Maddow will speak to the candidates separately on a variety of topics including the economy, policing in America, the state of the Democratic Party at the event set to air on MSNBC at 8 p.m. ET next Friday.

Coverage will begin at 6 p.m. ET with a live edition of “Hardball,” co-hosted by Chris Matthews and Steve Kornacki. After the forum, Maddow will join Matthews to provide viewers with analysis.

The latest opportunity for the Democratic candidates to speak about the issues their campaigning on follows Wednesday’s third GOP presidential debate that aired on MSNBC’s sister network, CNBC.

Several of the candidates were not pleased with the line of questioning, and they weren’t alone — voters took to the social media to mock the “incompetent moderators.”

Correction: TheWrap previously identified the “The First in the South Democratic Candidates Forum” as the next debate for Democratic presidential candidates, and regrets the error.
