Way to drag out out the anticipation for the upcoming season of “Modern Family,” Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

Ferguson, who plays Mitchell Pritchett on the ABC sitcom, hit up Instagram to offer a look at what’s to come when the series returns for its 10th run on Sept. 26. And it’s quite the eye-opener.

Ferguson graced fans with photos of himself and his co-star, Eric Stonestreet from what we’re guessing is a Halloween episode from the upcoming season.

The first hint is that there are “Happy Halloween” signs and decorative bats and hanging behind Ferguson and Stonestreet.

The second hint is, well, Ferguson is dressed as Prince Harry and Stonestreet is done up as Meghan Markle, which should leave fans royally psyched for the show’s return.

“Well…the paparazzi already spilled this on the internet so…here’s a little thing you get to look forward to on Season 10 of @abcmodernfam. New episodes start on Sept. 26,” Ferguson wrote, adding the hashtag “#princeharryandmeghan.”

One thing fans might not be as excited about when “Modern Family” returns: series co-creator Christopher Lloyd recently said that a “significant” character would die in Season 10.

“We’re handling some bigger life events in this season,” Lloyd said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “We do deal with a death, which is certainly a topic that families have to deal with, and on television, it’s not easy to do because that’s a heavy subject. But at the same time, it would seem unusual for a family not to go through it.”

Judging from Ferguson’s sneak peek, there’s a good chance that the character might die of laughter.
