“Mockingjay Part 1” is expected to fly high at the box office this weekend. But before the lucrative franchise broke ground in 2012, stars like Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth were lesser known.
TheWrap has turned back the clock on the careers of many of the film’s cast to show fans what their favorite actors were doing before the glitz and glamour of “The Hunger Games.”
Many of them got their big breaks on the small screen before signing on to appear in the adaptations of Suzanne Collins‘ dystopian young adult novels.
Lawrence, for example, appeared on a 2005 episode of MTV’s “My Super Sweet 16” before her Oscar nominated role in the 2010 film “Winter’s Bone.”
Hutcherson, meanwhile, guest starred as a sickly boy in need of an operation on a 2002 episode of “E.R.”
