Get ready for more Missy.
Grammy Award-winning double platinum artist Missy Elliott — one of the biggest stars in hip-hop from last decade — will return to the stage to reunite alongside Lil’ Kim and Da Brat to sing “Ladies Night” at the Soul Train Awards, airing Nov. 30 on BET Networks and CENTRIC. Their performance will be a tribute to the iconic funk band Kool & the Gang, who will receive the evening’s Legend Award.

Elliott, Lil’ Kim and Da Brat will perform their 1996 platinum single, “Not Tonight,” as well as the remix from Kool & the Gang’s first platinum album and same-titled single, “Ladies Night.” The tribute will also include a performance by soulful singer Joe.
Other newly announced performers at this year’s Soul Train Awards include Tamar Braxton, Bobby Brown, Tank and Sevyn Streeter. They join previously announced hit-makers Chris Brown, Ma$e, Aloe Blacc and Nico & Vinz.

Elliott has been generally out of the spotlight in recent years. She marked her return to the stage at the BET Awards back in June, performing her classic hit “Pass That Dutch” alongside Pharrell Wiliiams’ performance of his 2014 summer jam “Come Get It Bae.”
The Soul Train Awards will air on CENTRIC and BET Networks on Nov. 30 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
