Talk about cinematic catnip.
Michelle Pfeiffer is in talks to reunite with her "Batman Returns" director Tim Burton on the upcoming "Dark Shadows," TheWrap has confirmed.
Pfeiffer unforgettably played the part of Catwoman in the 1992 smash hit, but she'll be hang up the mask and bull whip in Warner Brothers/Village Roadshow's big screen adaptation of the 1960s soap opera.
The Oscar nominee will play Elizabeth Collins Stoddard, a hermetic matriarch.
Pfeiffer will round out what is shaping up to be an impressive cast. Johnny Depp is on board as the vampire Barnabas Collins. Eva Green and Jackie Earle Haley have also been cast.
Also expected to join the cast is Burton's girlfriend and frequent collaborator Helena Bonham Carter. Though Carter is expected to participate her role in the film has not yet been decided.
Pfeiffer is represented by CAA and Management 360. News of her casting was first reported on the Hollywood Reporter.
