Martin Short. Is there anybody who could bring as much funny as the creator of Ed Grimley, Jiminy Glick and Nathan Thurm? Plus, it would be fun to see Kelly Ripa respond to his characters.
Snoop Dogg. Very few co-hosts could keep the morning-show atmosphere quite as chill. Assuming Snoop actually does mornings.
Kathy Griffin. Having two women co-hosts might be reminiscent of Hoda and Kathie Lee. But if Kelly Ripa can’t get Anderson Cooper, getting his New Year’s Eve partner might be the next best thing.
Zayn Malik. If the “Pillowtalk” singer joined, there would be only one direction for “Live.” And that’s straight up.
Ozzy Osbourne. Now that he’s split from wife Sharon, the Black Sabbath frontman should have plenty of time for a new gig. Or as he himself might say, “Mmmm-dddddd-ffffff-rrrrr.”
Alec Baldwin. The former “30 Rock” star could offer a great PR opportunity for “Live” by having a tabloid-worthy outburst every day.
