Michael Moore is doubling down on his prediction that Donald Trump will not last a full term as President of the United States.
“He is a malignant narcissist, that’s a dangerous thing for a politician to be if they’re elected to office and they hold power,” the filmmaker and activist told TheWrap’s Sharon Waxman in a live interview in Washington, D.C. on Friday. “They filter everything through ‘me, me, me, what’s best for me? What do I get out of it? What do I get out of this deal if I get this bill passed?’ He will break the law, there is no doubt in my mind this man will break the law. The only question is how many times it will take him breaking the law before Republicans in Congress are saying, this is not good for us.”
Moore also envisions the new president only spending two or three days a week at the White House, living the rest of the time at his residences in New York or in Florida.
The filmmaker gave one additional prediction: Trump would push for some kind of TV show which follows his life as President.
“He’s addicted to that red light,” Moore said. “He’s not going to go for a long time without having his own show. He will have his own show… The press is going to get moved out, and he will control the message by having his own show, and some network or networks are going to be enablers of this.”
